RISK POLICY (USER & PLATFORM RISK MANAGEMENT)

This Risk Policy explains key risks for users and how Challenge Mania manages operational, legal, and content-related risks on the Platform.

 

1. Content Risk

1.1 UGC Risk

UGC may be inaccurate, offensive, or unlawful. We reduce risk via:

  • Community Guidelines enforcement,
  • notice-and-action takedowns,
  • user reporting,
  • age-gating/visibility controls.

We do not pre-approve all UGC and are not liable for user content except as required by law.

1.2 Licensed Content Risk

Titles may disappear due to licensing expiry, legal claims, or policy constraints.

 

2. Financial & Transaction Risk

Risks include payment failures, fraud, chargebacks. Controls:

  • RBI-compliant gateways,
  • fraud monitoring,
  • transaction logging,
  • PPV refund rules.

 

3. Data & Privacy Risk

Risks include unauthorized access or breaches. Controls:

  • encryption, access limits, monitoring;
  • breach response & mandatory notification to users/board where required by DPDP.

 

4. Legal & Regulatory Risk

We comply with:

  • IT Act 2000 & Intermediary Rules 2021 (grievance, takedowns, due diligence),
  • DPDP Act 2023 & DPDP Rules 2025 (consent, rights, security),
  • Copyright Act 1957,
  • Consumer Protection & E-Commerce Rules 2020.

 

5. Safety & Harm Risk (Challenges / Stunts)

Because Challenge Mania may host challenge-based content:

  • Users must not upload dangerous stunts encouraging real-world harm.
  • We may remove risky content, age-gate it, or attach warnings.
  • Users participate in any physical challenges at their own risk. Seek professional supervision where relevant.

 

6. Platform Performance Risk

We mitigate downtime with:

  • redundant hosting/CDN,
  • monitoring & incident response,
  • planned maintenance windows.

7. Reporting & Response

Users can report safety, fraud, privacy, or content risks via:
